PUBLIC NOTICE
Draft Petroleum (Exploration & Production) Policy 2007

Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources (the Ministry) intends to promote upstream oil and gas sector activities to enhance oil and gas production for meeting emerging needs of the country by encouraging the foreign and local investment. For the purpose, the Ministry has drafted the policy package to provide incentives as well as regulatory clarity for E&P Sector. A copy of the draft policy has been placed at the Ministry's Website www.mpnr.gov.pk

With view of hold public consultation with all stakeholders to refine the policy draft he Ministry though this public notice, invites views, suggestions and comments of the potential investors and the interested persons on the draft policy which may be sent in writing to the Director General (Petroleum Concessions) latest by 27th April 2007 at the following address.
