Purchase of Technology for Mechanized Thermo Laminated Balls
(Soccer / Football, volley Ball and Basket Ball Respectably) for Sport
Industries Development Center (SIDC), Sialkot, Pakistan.
Sports Industries Development center (SIDC), Sialkot,
Pakistan is a Joint initiative of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority
(SMEDA), Ministry of Industries & Production (Mol&P), Government of
Pakistan (Gop) and Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) to help
Sports goods sector to adopt new technology of thermo molded / mechanized ball
by providing training, common facilities and technical advisory services along with
mold making services.
Sealed bids are invited from reputed and well established
machinery / plant suppliers who can supply the complete technology to Pakistan
with capacity of 3500 Nos. mechanized thermo laminated balls (for soccer/football,
volley ball and basket ball respectively) per 8 hours shift per day. This technology
comprises the provision of consultancy, machinery, equipment, commissioning,
training, lab facilities (physical & chemical) etc. a foreign bidder is
entitled to bid with the joint venture / collaboration of a Pakistani contractor.
Interested bidders should also provide the following documents
with their bids:
1.
Having License / registrations with any public or private
bodies in Pakistan
required to supply the work.
2.
Proof of Certification by international Certifying agencies
like also certification.
3.
Copies of agency, joint venture agreement with manufactures/
international suppliers along with their complete profile.
4.
Details of similar jobs carried out in the last
three years.
5.
Undertaking on the letterhead, that the bidder is
not blacklisted by any other organization or any public department.
6.
audited statement of accounts for the last three
years as proof of financial stability:
procedure of bid opening shall be a two stage bidding
procedure as per procedure laid down in rule 36( c) of Public Procurement
Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules, 2004, Bidders may obtain further detail /
information from, inspect at and acquire the Bidding Documents form the office of
under signed.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by an
interested bidder on submission of a written application to the under mentioned
office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Pak Rs. 5,000 only in shape
of Cash / pay order or demand Draft.
The employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid
and to annual the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to
award contract without thereby arising any liability / objection to the
affected bidder.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid security equal to Rs. 3
million in Pak Rupees or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency
and must be delivered to project Director (SIDC) at or before 1500 hours, on 21-02-2011.
